Also, although its standard these days, the Kenwood has a aux output to plug in your MP3 player and iphones, anything with a head phone jack. The Kenwood KDC W3044A is a fantastic car stereo complete with mp3 player. For its price point it contains many great features. These include a detachable face, full rotaly control and a FL display. I like the music fairly loud in my vehicle and found that this amp stayed fairly clean at high volumes. The amp is 50watts into 4 channels and sounds awesome. Depending on your speaker set up in your vehicle, this stereo has a pretty neat speaker setting function that lets you choose from three settings to best pair with your speakers. The mp3 players works pretty good as well and also decodes wma files. Radio reception was okay, with most of the my favorite stations coming in clear. It has 24 pre sets total for AM and FM. Overall, a pretty good unit for the price. Lots of sound control features, so you can really tailor your experience if thats what you are in to.
Kenwood KDC W3044A CD/MP3 PLAYER with AUXILLARY INPUT FOR iPOD OR PORTABLE MP3 DEVICE Key.50W x 4, Max Output Power Detachable Faceplate Protection Case For Faceplate. Got brought this headunit for my birthday. It has a fairly basic easy to use layout, plays all kinds of cds including cdr/cdrw.Plays mp3 and wav files off of the cd.It also has an mp3 port and via a cable (brought seperatly) you are able to just plug your mp3 player straight in and away you go. Good Points Ease of use, very attractive to look at, fits in the dash wonderfully. Bad Points Joystick control takes a bit of getting used to. Volume control could do with being slightly longer .The main downside i had was after only 3 months the display board broke and would not display anything making it difficult to no what i was doing.I had the unit replaced with a brand new one and again 3 months later the same thing happened.I was then told it was something i was doing to cause this.I then brought a different headuint and have had no problems. The supposed suppoort team were not any good at all. There are better headunits avaliable for a similar cost, which i would suggest purchasing.
