WHAT IS IT?
Toner from Lancome.
Tonique Clarte comes in a bottle that matches with most of Lancomes bottles. It is quite thin and has got a faint picture of a flower on the front and a silver lid. You dispense the toner by tipping the bottle up and it will drip out of the little hole at the top of the bottle. I like that it drips out slowly because I like to use only a small amount of toner at a time but the bottle can be squeezed a little bit so that more comes out in one go.
HOW DO YOU USE IT?
After you have cleansed your face you pour some of the toner onto cotton wool and use that to apply the toner to your skin. You should use light motions and do not drag the skin, the toner is for the skin on your face and your neck also.
WHAT I THINK
I have been using this toner for about 3 weeks and do not think it is very effective and it is not nice to use either. The 2 good things are that it smells very beautiful and has got a rose fragrance that I like very much, it is very feminine in smell and the rose fragrance makes me feel relaxed while I am caring for my skin. The other good thing is that it feels very cool on my skin and that is good because I use cream cleansers and exfoliators so I need for something to cool my skin after.
This toner feels like it is gentle but it stings quite bad sometimes and I do not like that because it makes me feel like I am damaging my skin and not caring for it like I should be. It does not feel oily and just feels like water on my skin but with something added to it.
I do not think it does very much for the quality of my skin and it does not even feel very toned or tight after I have been using it regular. My skin feels a little bit dry now so I am going to use another toner because it feels like it is taking all of the moisture out of my skin and I do not like how my skin stings sometimes after I have used it.
A bottle of Lancome Tonique Clarte costs about £20 and I think that is a lot for something like this that makes my skin feel worse and not better.
