I’m Dramatically Indifferent to this one

In my late 20s I was a fairly regular buyer of DD. I’ve always travelled through airports a lot for my work and I developed a tendency to drift towards the Clinique section of duty free shops. In my time I went through quite a few bottles of DD and I recently found a 30ml tube at the back of my bathroom cupboard, probably one that had been in a mixed ‘gift with purchase’ collection of Clinique miniatures. It felt like a real blast from the past, a part of my youth emerging from behind the tubes of toothpaste.

Dramatically Different is sadly now Dramatically Indifferent. What was once a benchmark product has been overtaken by modern technology, by products that are either much more natural, much more technical, much more effective - and quite possibly all three. This once magic lotion needs to be consigned to cosmetic history - along with tubs of Ponds Cold Cream and Lux soap. It’s a facial care dinosaur. Even Clinique seem to have recognised this problem and have recently relaunched a ‘NEW Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion +’ the problem is that it’s not clear what the PLUS is supposed to be, and it doesn’t appear to be a sunscreen which is the one thing I’d have put as a priority for them to improve the product.

DD is a pale yellow lotion, rather thin in texture and a little goes a long way.It has no distinctive scent to it and it soaks in very quickly. I've never had any irritation from this product - but then if I'm honest, I've not had much irritation from other products either. The problem for my skin 20 years after I started to use it, is that it’s just not up to the job of delivering more than a light moisturisation. It has no sun protection which means it’s not suitable for using in the hotter months which is pretty much the only time when its level of moisturising would be appropriate.

I have happy memories but I have no desire to buy more of this - new and improved or old and basic, neither appeals to me. I moved on to better products in the Clinique range and from other producers but DD didn’t keep up with me or the competition. As a product for young girls starting out on a facial care regime, it’s over-priced for what it is and they can do better and spend less.

RIP Dramatically Different - gone, but not forgotten, but equally not entirely missed.

      Advantages

      • "Nice light texture."
      • "Helps to rebalance skin after cleansing."

      Disadvantages

      • " does nothing else."
      • "Very basic moisturiser"

NOT dramatically different - just a good basic moisturiser.

This often comes with the 3 step cleansing routine step, this being the last moisturising step after cleansing with the soap cleanser and toning with the clarifying lotion.

Clinique claims that this is a necessary step after cleansing to rebalance the moisture and pH levels of the skin. I find it an adequate moisturiser on its own, relieves the skin of dryness etc. but Clinique does recommend using another moisturiser on top of this. After all, the lotion is just for basic hydration and nothing else, i.e. no SPF, no firming, or dealing with any age related issues.

The lotion is usually designed for those with dry combination skin - I find this a bit oily for my skin and I have normal combination skin. However, the lotion also comes in a gel version which is made for oily combination skins - but I find this not enough and too dry for my skin!

This is a good basic moisturiser, but that is it. Not so sure about the 'dramatically different' bit that it claims, as I certainly don't notice much difference in my skin. And the price that goes with it, I don't feel it's fully justified, it's £17,50 for 50ml which would be very good value if did other things, but it just basically rehydrates the skin.

The moisturiser often comes as part of the Bonus Time gift sets, so it's probably best to try it out then. Really not something to rush to buy and particularly not for the price it's currently at. But to be fair, it is nevertheless a good basic moisturiser. It's pleasant to use and has a lovely light texture.

        Disadvantages

        fab product! a must have!

Love this moisturiser one of the best i have ever tried!
I suffer from very dry, flakey and sensitive skin especially in the winter months and was looking for a product that would moisturise and also keep my skin in good condition without being to heavy or too greasy.
I found that here with this! I have the 200ml bottle (which you can unfortunately only purchase at airports) and i have the lotion i believe there is also a gel which i have not tried as it is for more greasy skin.
Great product not too over priced and a little goes a long way seems to last forever even when using twice daily, i love this product and will defiantly be repurchasing it in the future, this is an essential product for my face routine don't know what i ever did without it! cannot wait to try some more Clinique products in the future.

        Advantages

        • "Very moisturising"
        • Light

        Disadvantages

        • "Makes skin oily"

Very light yet richly moisturising lotion.

I love this moisturiser, especially during autumn and winter as my skin is at it's driest then. It is a very rich moisturiser and is of quite a thin consistency, which I like because it soaks in easily. My face stays moisturised all through the day, and even dry parts like my forehead never get flakey.

The only downside is that when I use it on my nose, I look REALLY oily, but it's bad for your skin not to moisturise so I don't want to just avoid that area. I'm not sure whether this is because of the product or just because of my combination skin (probably the latter) but it certainly is an irritation. The Nivea Rich Moisturiser I used to use didn't really cause this problem, but I had to use it twice on the rest of my face to get the nice, moisturised feeling I get from this one.

It definitely works very well as part of the 3-step skincare routine, which also includes a great cleanser and clarifier, but since I've run out of clarifier I have only been using this and the cleanser. All of them are great products and work really well without that burning feeling I usually get when products work (I have a severely sensitive face).

So, all in all, I definitely think it's a product worth buying. At the moment, I'm half way through my second bottle and I know I won't hesitate to buy another. The fact that it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin, plus it moisturises even my driest patches thoroughly will keep me buying more, even though it does give me a shiny nose.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

        great lightweight moisturiser!

        Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion.

A moisturising lotion designed by Clinique to be used as part of their 3-step skincare routine.

        1. Cleanse
        2. Tone
        3. Moisturise

        THE CLAIMS:

helps duplicate the moisture naturally occuring in the skin to provide comfort and balance to your skin.

        WHAT I'VE FOUND:
I'll start by saying I didn't go out and choose this product myself, it was part of a 'bonus time' gift set I recieved after purchasing some other items from Clinique. I think 'bonus time' is a wonderful idea, it's basically a deal that's on every so often where upon purchasing usually two items from Clinique you recieve a gift set with some sample-sized products in. It's a great way of trying new things you wouldn't necessarily choose for yourself and occasionally you find a gem (hence this review!)
This product comes in both a lotion and a gel form, since trying the lotion I've also tried the gel but I'll do a separate review for that! This particular lotion is designed for dry to very dry skin which isn't really me, I'm more oily/combination. I decided to use this at night throughout the winter months as my skin was in need of a bit more moisture then.
My favourite thing about this lotion is the texture, despite being intended for drier skin it has a very light consistancy and is not greasy at all. It settles into the skin nicely and I was pleasantly surprised as to how it improved my skin, my skin feels smoother and definately more moisturised but not in an oily/greasy way.

        THE PACKAGING:
The product comes in a small clear bottle, the product is pale yellow. It comes in both a pour and pump type bottle. The pump bottle is definately better, I find when pouring the product out you waste a lot and with this product a little goes a long way! As with all Clinique products the packaging is very simple but I like that, not too gimicky, it's to the point.

        VALUE FOR MONEY:
The product comes in two sizes:
£17.00 for the 50ml cap bottle.
£29.50 for the 125ml pump bottle.
It's such a lovely product to use and makes such a different to the skin I'd say it's worth the splurge especially as you don't need much of it, therefore it lasts a long time. I'd definately repurchase this, well done Clinique!

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

        4 stars

Deciding to treat myself in the Duty Free recently, I headed straight to the Clinique counter and soon had quite a basket full of products. I love Clinique! I managed to get a great deal with several products inside a toiletry bag. The products were all full size and for around £39 I managed to get the clarifying lotion, liquid face soap, dramatically different moisturiser, plus a travel sized face soap and moisturiser. Not bad when the retail price alone for the moisturiser is £17 for the 50ml capped version that I received inside. The 125ml large version is also available with a pump top which is £29.50, so better value for money.

This particular moisturiser is up there with my favourite ones on the market. I tend to opt for more expensive brands for face care. It makes me feel good and I often find that cheaper brands run out in half the time and are often watery, making them a false economy in my opinion. Out of the higher end brands, I think this moisturiser is one of the best value. For a start its one of the cheapest, but it also seems to last forever. I have only just started using my current bottle, but my last bottle (the 125ml) lasted me for around 8 months, used twice daily I think this is excellent value with noticeable results.

I have quite dry skin and especially so in the winter when the cold lashes against it. I went through a period of switching brands for some reason and my skin appeared dry and flaky making make up look caked on despite not using much at all. Switching rapidly back to this moisturiser my face seemed rejuvenated and fresh like it would in the summer. My smooth skin makes it easier to apply make-up and in the summer months when my skin tightens in the sun, the moisturiser is lovely and refreshing in an evening and I have no need for after sun.

It goes on light and often when I'm getting low on primer I will use this moisturiser as a base for foundation. It's non greasy and doesn't leave any kind of residue or shine to the skin. I use it on my neck too and a little really does go a surprisingly long way.

This particular product seems to really come into its own when you use it as part of the 3 step Clinique programme which is customised to your own skin type (just visit the Clinique website or a counter for advice). If you follow the 3 step routine (cleanse, exfoliate, moisturise) for 3 minutes twice a day you really will notice softer, smoother and more improve skin.

There are two types of moisturiser available in the Dramatically Different range. One is a lotion and one is a gel. The lotion is recommended for drier skin, while the oil free gel is recommended for oilier skin. I can only comment on the lotion version however I would imagine the results are very similar.
My only slight niggle with this product is the shape of it. While I looks fab, when you are getting near to the end of the bottle you have to either leave it tipped upside down and wiggle your finger around inside to get the last of it out, or it goes to waste as you can't squeeze the bottle for every last drop!

I absolutely adore this product and so do Zest magazine too, awarding it Winner of the Skincare Awards in 2011.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

There are better value alternatives out there

I have this Clinique lotion in my handbag and have used it for a while. It is a bit of a cult moisturising lotion that has been a favourite for many for a long time. To be honest, I think it is OK, but not fantastic - I'm really not sure that it is worth the money when you compare it to some of the ones you can buy in supermarkets.

The moisturising lotion comes in a little glass bottle. The one I have is a 50ml bottle, which is ideal, because I can take it through security at the airport - so it is perfect for travel purposes. The 50ml bottle is about £13, but you can get a 125ml bottle from places like House of Fraser for about £27, so cost wise bigger is better. If you are taking it on a plane with you, I can't stress enough that you have to make sure the lid is on tightly. I must have lost half a bottle of the stuff so far because I haven't done and it has ended up all over the inside of my little plastic liquids bag!

The cream is yellow and it is 100% fragrance free. It does have a slight smell to it, which is very natural. I think it smells like baby moisturising lotion, which I love. I have had some creams that are quite overpowering and I tend to use the lotion on my face, which means that I am stuck with too strong a smell all day - not so with this one.

The cream is designed for dry to very dry combination skin, which is exactly what I have. I find that it does work in the first instance, but that it is not very long before my skin feels tight again. It's a shame really because everything else about it is great and it does work for a bit, but it doesn't have that long lasting effect that I'd like to get from a lotion - especially for the price.

One thing I will say is that it does seem to last quite a while and that you don't need much of it in one go. It is quite hard though to only get a little bit out at a time because the neck of the bottle is quite wide. I have seen that Clinique have now brought out a pump version of the lotion and it is around the same price, if not a little bit less expensive. I would probably recommend getting this one instead because you'd be able to reduce the amount that you get out of the bottle each time.

Overall I'd say that the cream is good, but not great and I really can't say that it is worth the expense. I'll probably not be getting another bottle once this one has run out.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

An amazing moisturiser, especially for greasy skin sufferers!

I attended a Debenhams Beauty Give Away Night in Bournemouth a few weeks ago that was celebrating their new Benefit Brow Bar and Urban Decay Counter and on entry you received a goody bag FULL of mini samples! It mostly contained perfumes and face cleansers but also included a small bottle of this Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturiser. I noticed it was for oily combination to oily skin too which was lucky as this is my skin type!

I don't tend to use moisturisers that much (I know, don't lecture me...) as my face is so greasy I haven't found a good one yet. However I definitely have now! A week after receiving this I managed to burn my face and got really dry skin for a few days so I decided to try this out. At first I was only applying it to the really dry parts where I had burnt it slightly but it made these dry parts of my face feel so soft I decided to start applying it to the whole of my face. I put it on in the morning, before my make up routine and found it made a big difference when putting my makeup on as my skin loosk healthier and softer to work with. The best part was that my face was no oiler than it usually gets through out the day and I just had to use my usual pressed powder to tidy it up.

The moisturizer didn't feel at all heavy on my face and sunk into my skin almost instantly, it was refreshingly cool to put on. Plus I didn't have to use much to cover my face, barely a pea sized amount! I have since been wearing it almost everyday and my face feels much softer for doing so. I am definitely going to be buying this product full size when I run out, although I know it will be expensive being Clinique and this has what put me off trying out any of their products before.

The only bad points I can think of are that it doesn't contain any SPF which most moisturisers currently do and that I don't see what is so 'dramatically different' about the moisturiser, although it must be very different because it does work amazingly well. I'm also not entirely sure about the full size bottle because I have seen that it is packaged in a qlass pump style bottle and I would much prefer it in a squeeze bottle because it makes it much easier to keep in your bag or travel with. However I am willing to put up with this as the moisturiser really is very good!

        Disadvantages

I will never ever ever make the mistake of using a clinique product again as long as I live. I used the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion yesterday morning - and boy was it! My face is red and burning, my eyes are puffy, my skin is itching, and basically my face looks disgusting - up until yesterday I had perfect soft unblemished skin. Clinique has ruined my skin - I hope it is temporary but I am going to see my doctor about it.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

        Dramatically different.

I first tried this product as a free sample with an edition of glamour magazine. As soon as I heard they were offering different free Clinique products I went out and bought the whole range! Full price this moisturiser is anywhere from £17 to £25, but I always buy it on ebay, brand new from people who don't want it, this makes it much cheaper and I can often get if for under £7. This price brings it more in line with other high street brand moisturisers. This makes it much more affordable. Ordinarily, at full price, I would find it hard to justify it.
The moisturiser comes in a plastic squeezy tube with a round screw on and off lid. The tube sits upright on this flat lid. The cream normally comes boxed as well, which helps give it that premium feel. The cream is easy to squeeze out of the small hole at the bottom, exactly how much you want. The cream itself is quite thick and pale in colour. It is really creamy, but not oily like a body butter. The cream is water based, so is easily absorbed into your skin, it doesn't take much rubbing. I only ever apply a small amount, and only to problem areas. This is not the sort of cream you just use all over your face unless you want to break out in spots!
The cream has a very light scent, but is nothing distinctive or offensive, just mild and pleasant. You can use the cream as night or day cream, it is not too heavy for the day and it doesn't leave your face shiny, yet it does seem to give a deep nourishing feel.
I would really recommend this cream, but only if you can pick it up cheaply. At full price I believe it is too expensive. This cream really is dramatically different, but not worth £20!!!

          Advantages

          Disadvantages

You can get the same results for less by using other products.

I have used Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion a number of times - mostly because it has been given to me as part of a Clinique packages that I have purchased. I have used it both as part of the Clinique 3 step regime (Facial Soap then Clarifying Lotion then Moisturising Lotion) and as a stand alone product. This does come in a gel as well as a lotion, but I have only used the lotion and so this is the only product I am able to comment on.

The Clinque Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion comes in a small glass bottle with a screw top silver lid. When it is first bought, it comes in a small box with has a information leaflet within it with instructions and product information enclosed also. The packaging is simple and basic, but the concept of simple yet professional seems to be what underpins the Clinque range - and so this is no exception. As the bottle is transparent, I am able to see through the glass to see how much of the lotion I have left and so this obviously helps to inform me when the product needs replacing. There are various sizes of the lotion, but the one I have used is the 50ml bottle which costs £16.50 direct from the Clinique.co.uk website.

One of the problems with this product is actually getting the moisuriser out of the bottle. Because it is a glass bottle, it is obviously not squeezable and it also doesn't have a pump installed within it (although I think you can buy a version that does have a pump but this never seems to come in the multi item packages). Because of this, it is a matter of taking of the lid and then you have to shake the bottle (a little bit like a ketchup bottle!) to get the lotion out. It comes out fairly easily to start with, but by the time you get to about half way down the bottle, the lotion is more difficult to get out - and I have ended up throwing the bottle away with quite a lot of the lotion still stuck to the sides of the glass bottle. Because the hole that the lotion comes out is quite small, it is not possible to put a finger in and do a sweep of the jar, as you would if you were using a jar. This is a little annoying because I find if you buy a product, you should be able to use all of the product!

The lotion itself is a mustardy colour and is a consistency comparable to thick yoghurt. It is suggested that it is used morning and evening - and I generally follow this advice. I put a fairly small amount of the lotion on my face and neck and moisturise it in in a circular motion. Initially, after putting it on, my skin does feel a little greasy, but within about five minutes, the moisturiser is absorbed and then my skin is just left feeling hydrated and supple. I am prone to a dry patch on the mid point of my forehead, and using this moisturiser does tend to help keep that part less dry - and so makes make up application more flawless. I like the fact that this moisturiser isn't fragranced as I have sensitive skin and I find that fragranced moisturisers make me much more likely to react negatively.

Overall, I do like this product and think it is a decent moisturiser - BUT I don't understand what is "Dramatically Different" about this lotion. It simply isn't dramatically different to a whole load of quality moisturisers on the market - and there are cheaper moisturisers on the market which do the same job for a lot lower price.

          Advantages

          Disadvantages

          A great everyday moisturizer

Dramatically diffent moisturizer is a product that I have been using for years usually in combination with the 3 step routine. I like to change up my moisturisers every few months so that my skin doesn't become too used to any one product but the dramatically different is one that I go back to and I usually buy at least one bottle a year.

The moisturizer is in the mid range price bracket at £15 for a 50ml bottle which will last me about 2 to 2 and a half months. I don't think this is a bad price t pay especially when you consider some other moisturisers from premium bands can be double this.

The moisturizer is more of a lotion than a cream and is light in texture and when applied to the skin is immediately absorbed. Although it is very lightweight I find that it gives me good moisturization and stops my skin from feeling dry and tight. I have combination skin and can have patches of dry skin on my cheeks and greasy skin on my forehead and nose. With the dramatically different lotion it leaves my skin feeling uniform and never greasy or feeling like there is a heavy cream on it.

I prefer using the moisturizer in winter as it is one of the few moisturizers that I have found that is good enough to leave my skin feeling hydrated without being too rich and creamy which can leave me with breakouts.
I also suffer from Rosacea and dramatically different is one of the few moisturizers that I can be confident wont irritate my skin no matter how sensitive it is feeling.

Within a few days of using it I always notice my skin is looking and feeling better and it really helps with the texture of my skin and also it looks healthier with a radiance that was missing before.
If you find that the lotion is too rich for your skin they also do a gel which is what I use in summer and it has all the great benefits of the lotion but is much lighter and fresher for the warmer months.

I dislike the bottle that it comes in only due to the fact that when the lotion i running out I find it difficult to be able to get to the last dregs of it and I would prefer a squeezable tube instead.
I also wish it contained an SPF so I didn't have to add something else on top.
Other than these little niggles dramatically different is a fabulous product and one I highly recommend.

A nice light moisturiser for those who aren't fussed about SPF.

I am not a regular Clinique customer, simply because it is an expensive brand that is usually out of my price range. So, when Glamour magazine recently celebrated it's 10th Birthday edition by giving out one of ten different Clinique freebies with each issue, I was delighted at the chance to try something new and a bit luxurious for the bargain price of a £2 magazine! I treated myself to several of the different freebies, the first of which being Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion.

The full size version of this lotion is available at www.clinique.co.uk, as well as Boots, Debenhams and House of Fraser, and a 50ml bottle will set you back £15. The freebie I got was 30ml, so worth about £9, which makes it a real bargain!

The moisturiser is designed to be used as Step 3 of Clinique's famous 3-Step skincare routine. However, I have relatively sensitive skin, and have heard many horror stories from friends who have likened Clinique's cleansers and toners to paintstripper! While I have no doubts they work brilliantly for those with more well-suited skin, I decided to use this moisturiser along side my usual cleanser (Clean and Clear for sensitive skin by Johnsons) and toners (Breath of Fresh Air and Tea Tree Water by Lush).

It comes in a simple tube with a screw cap lid, and it is easy to control the amount of product that is dispersed. However, the picture of the full sized product on the website suggests it is packaged as a pump bottle, which may make it harder to prevent too much product coming out per pump. I personally much prefer the squeezy tubes, as there is less wasteage, and also it is easier to use up the dregs of the product- I sometimes cut the top off to get a few more days of use, which cannot be done with a hard plastic bottle.

The first thing I noticed when studying the information on the tube is that this moisturiser doesn't contain any SPF. This is extremely disappointing to me personally. Surely by now, with so much awareness of the damage the sun can do, both in terms of the dangers of skin cancer as well as the more trivial worries of premature ageing and age spots, I strongly feel that all moisturisers should contain SPF as standard. Perhaps this has been designed for people who wear foundation containing SPF instead. In any case, I refuse to leave the house without wearing a moisturiser containing an SPF, and so for that reason, I have been using this moisturiser in the evenings, as well as on occasional weekends/ bank holidays where I have stayed indoors.

There is an extremely mild fragrance to this moisturiser, which is completely inoffensive. To me, it simply smells clean, and the scent fades completely within minutes of having applied it, so there are no concerns about it clashing with your perfume. I think the most impressive feature of this moisturiser to me is how quickly it sinks in to my skin. Most moisturisers leave a sheen on my face that takes ages to properly sink in. Yet this lotion is completely absorbed within a minute of applying it. This makes it a wonderful base for makeup, as there is no waiting around for the moisturiser to absorb.

This moisturiser is suitable for very dry to dry combination skin. I fall into the latter category, as I often get very tight, dry cheeks, with an oilier t-zone. Having used this product once a day for over a month now, I can confidently say it leaves my cheeks feeling soft and smooth. However, I have found that on the odd occasion when I have worn this during they day, by lunchtime I am left with a very shiny looking nose and forehead. I will continue to use this moisturiser until I have finished the tube, but it seems like my t-zone is a tad too oily for this lotion to deal with.

I have had no breakouts since using this moisturiser, which is great, and suggests it is light enough not to block up my bores, unlike heavier moisturisers I have tried in the past. I estimate I have used approximately 10ml of my 30ml tube during that time, so a little goes a long way, making it better value for money than I initially thought.

Clinique regularly have "Bonus Time" offers, whereby if you purchase 2 or 3 full-sized products, then you get around 5 or 6 trial sized freebies, and often a pretty case/bag/tin to put them all in. These Bonus Time promotions seem to be on fairly frequently in my local Boots and Debenhams stores, so I would suggest anyone wanting to give this moisturiser a try to hold off until then. The trial sized products are often decent sizes, and are a great way of trying out a range of products without commiting to buying full sized versions.

I thought this was a decent moisturiser, but I won't be rushing out to buy a full sized pot anytime soon. This is partly because I am in saving mode at the moment, and would rather use a cheaper alternative and put the savings in our wedding fund, but partly because there is no SPF. For that kind of money, there is no excuse for it not containing SPF, and as I don't frequently wear foundation, I can't make up for it by using a foundation containing SPF. Having had a little browse on Clinique's website, I can see they sell a number of moisturisers that do contain SPF, so if I did decide to treat myself once I have a little more money to spend on treats, I think I would personally try one of those instead.

In summary, this is a lovely light moisturiser that sinks into my skin ever so quickly. I wouldn't go so far as to say it is a Dramatically Different moisturiser, but my face is left feeling soft and smooth, and my cheeks no longer feel tight or dry. However, after a few hours of applying it, my t-zone does look rather shiny, so perhaps my skin is too combination for this lotion. However for someone with dry skin, who is not fussed about it not containing an SPF or the high price tag, this is definitely worth a try.

            Give your Skin a Drink!

I am a total Bargain Hunter when it comes to Beauty Buys and it is not like me at all to spend a lot of money on Beauty or Skin products such as a moisturiser. But I'd heard great things about Clinique's 3-Step Skin range which consists of a Cleanser, Toner & Moisturiser and I figured that if I bought the Clinique 3-Step products then that would be my Facial Beauty regime sorted!

Out of the 3 Products in the "3-Step" range, the Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion was by far the best. The product comes in a 50ml tub with a Silver screw on lid and the Moisturiser itself is yellow in colour. The lotion has a very Milky smell and texture to it which I really liked as it felt and smelled so pleasant to put on my face. The lotion wasn't Greasy at all and I could use it around my Eye area without any irritation.

My skin was so soft to touch after using the Lotion, to put it in my own words my skin was "milky smooth" and I felt fresh and replenished all day. Even the dryest parts of my face (particularly around my nose) were smooth with no flakes at all. This has probably been the most impressive Moistursier I've used and it clearly has a formula that really works.

The 50ml tub costs £16 but there is a set avaiable which includes all 3 of the Products in the range and I believe it costs a little less than buying all of the Products seperatley. For best results, apply the lotion twice a day - I apply mine when I get up in the morning and before I go to bed.

This gets 5 Stars from me!

A fantastic, good quality moisturising lotion.

I love this product. I have been using it daily for the past few months and can say without a doubt it is my favourite moisturising lotion.

Price - This is expensive, it's clinique, there is no getting away from the price tag but it is true that you get what you pay for. £27.00 for 125ml of lotion. It is quite a wet lotion so a little goes a long way. My last container lasted me a little over 2 months and that's with using it daily, so when you factor that in its not so bad.

Packaging - This bottle is classically simple. It is made from clear plastic, so the lotion shows through. It is square in shape and has a silver coloured pump dispenser. The clinique 'C' in on the front in silver lettering as is the name of the product. I like the packaging, it is clean and classic, a bit like clinique in general.

Target consumer - This product is aimed at those with very dry or dry combination skin

Application - This pale yellow lotion, is quite wet and so one pump is usually sufficient to cover my whole face. it goes on really smoothly and is absorbed well into the skin. It doesn't really have a smell, which is nice as its the base product I use before primer and make up and I wouldn't like to have to many 'smells' on my face!

Performance - This really lives up to its name as its 'dramatically different'. It keeps my skin soft and smooth and tackles dry skin. I notice this the most around my nose where it can tend to be a little dry. I dont know why this product is so great, it just is. Maybe that the thing with clinique, there no gimmicks, no claims, just quality and this moisturising lotion is definitely quality.

I would wholeheartedly recommend this to those looking for a daily moisturiser.
