A few years ago I came across this razac hand and body lotion in a hair shop near where I live. My aunt used to use it religiously and on her it smelt lovely so when I saw the bottle (not cheap mind you!) on the shelf I picked up a 474ml bottle for £4.
Razac is an american brand which formulates lotions and also hair products for afro-caribbean hair. On the packaging the product describes that Razac's Hand & Body Lotion acts as a moisturizer and protectant against weather sensitive skin. Its rich non-greasy formula soothes and softens skin instantly. Apply Razac's Hand & Body Lotion to dry skin and massage in thoroughly.
The lotion comes out in quite a watery liquid throw a flip lid top with a hole in it. It is a white-ish colour with an orange tinge. It is highly perfumed so there is no need to be wearing any perfume on top of it as it will conflict and bombard a load of smells which do not compliment each other as I experienced! In terms of a moisturiser I was highly disappointed in this cream as it really doesn't lock in any moisture or soften my skin in any way at all to be quite frank. It soaks in easily, but my skin really doesn't feel nourished or hyrdrated in any way and so on this respect it is more of a lotion that just smells nice! Not beneficial for my skin in any regard and since the scent can border on to be overpowering after a while (the smell really does linger all day!) I started to find it gave me a headache. Overall I wouldn't really recommend this product and was quite disappointed and will not be buying it again!

==RAZAC HAND AND BODY LOTION==
I was introduced to this lotion by my friend 2 years ago and I have been using it ever since. Every time I met up with my friend she always smelt very nice, almost like she was wearing one of the expensive perfumes. One day I decided to ask her which perfume she was wearing and was actually very shocked when told me that it was actually a lotion. I did not believe her at first as I had never heard or come across this lotion before. I requested the details; she gave me the name and sent me the link of the lotion as soon as she got home. I searched everywhere in my small town but could not find it so I decided to buy it on line from Amazon. I was so excited to be a proud owner of the lotion that I couldn't wait to use it the following day to work.
==Availability and Price==
Razac Hand and Body Lotion is manufactured by Razac Products Company, USA and is distributed in the UK by Janson Ltd, London. The lotion is not easy to get hold of as it is not available from the normal retail outlets. It is however readily available from Amazon in the Health and Beauty Category. I have also seen it in a few privately owned pharmacies which also sell beauty and hair accessories. We have one near me now which opened recently.
The lotion will cost you £3.00 - £8.00 depending on where you buy it. I recently bought mine for £3.49 from my local private pharmacy.
==Visibility and Packaging==
The lotion comes in a simple white roundish plastic bottle with a screw on lid which has a flip up cap and a nozzle through which the lotion comes out. The container is very plain with no pictorial images. The label text sticks out in bright red/pink at the front and the small print in the same colour for the ingredients is located on the other side of the bottle. There is no extra packaging with this lotion and it mainly comes in bottle sizes of 474 ml. On Amazon it is also available in 60 ml and 120 ml bottles.
Unless you know the product, it might be difficult to spot it amongst other products because of the low key labelling.
==Composition and Application==
Razac is a rich non greasy perfumed moisturising hand and body lotion. It is creamish in colour and has a slightly thick consistence compared to other lotions, in other words it is not runny.
It is fairly easy to apply but a bit of massaging into the skin gives best results. It is easily absorbed into the skin and leaves the skin with a soft and refreshing feeling.
Not the best person for explaining fragrance scent, all I can say is that it leaves the body smelling really good, all day long.
The fragrance scent in the lotion lasts the whole day, effectively stays on until you wash it off. Truly and honestly, no need for a perfume when using this lotion as it does it all. Because the perfume is very pronounced, this may clash with any other perfume you wear so no need. .
The consistence is good, not runny as other lotions so there is no waste.
The cost of the lotion is lower than buying a lotion and perfume separately. Really good value for money if you consider the contents and the benefits of using the lotion.
Quality is not always reflected in the price, judging by the price you would expected this to be an ordinary lotion, but thank goodness it's not, it is unique in its own way.
Although we buy products for the contents not the container, the manufacturer could do much better on the labelling to make the product more attractive/eye catching. The value of the contents however outweighs this drawback.
The fragrance in the lotion is a bit pronounced and just like perfumes, may be too strong for other people, but well that's the reality of life.
The lotion may not be suitable for all skin types as some people with sensitive skin may react to the ingredients. It is therefore advisable to check the label ingredients first, where possible. Also try out with a small amount first. I have not really seen sample testers for this lotion but it will be good if these could be made available as a way of promoting the product as well.
The lotion does not have any vitamin supplements like other lotions but well you can't have it all in one, I can deal with the vitamins separately.
The label clearly says Hand and Body Lotion and the safety warning says avoid contact with eyes so not to be used on your face. I guess that is obvious as you may end up with eye irritation. Again you wouldn't normally apply perfume to your face, would you?
The lotion is not suitable for children.
I love this lotion I have actually wondered why Razac lotion is not available from most retail outlets in the UK as it is a good product. It however seems popular in the USA.
What's in a name? This name does not do the lotion any justice, it deserves a better name.
This lotion is worthy trying and comes highly recommended by me.
Thank you for taking time to read this review.
