“ Brand: Johnson's / Texture: Cream / Type: Moisturiser / Texture: Cream / What it does: Moisturizes / Contents/Size: 100ml „
Like many others I have tried a huge amount of moisturizes from well known brands and some have worked and some haven't. Johnson's Body Moisturizer is one of the ones that works efficiently. This product states on the bottle that is is for babies but nothing stops me from ever using this brand. Like many others the key thing that lures me into this brand is the scent. Johnson's has the most recognizable scent within the product industry. I myself have many products from this brand line. I have never used this product on a baby so I don't know its effects but I do know that this product works well on my skin.
The product comes in a lovely shaped white bottle, but the corners at the top can feel quite sharp. The lid is a handy shape because you are able to stand the product so that towards the end it drains towards the bottom of the product container. The lid is also white and you are able to screw it on and off. The front of the bottle has the main branding logo for the company written in blue and the instructions and guidelines on the back are also written in blue.
I buy this product from shops like Body Care and Wilkinson, but I also know that Poundland and Superdrug sell it too. I get this product for around the £2.00 mark. It varies every time I have to buy this product. I usually buy this product once every couple of months. I highly recommend this product to adults as well as children.
My husband a few months ago had a couple of small dry patches of skin on his hand and arm. He is never very keen on using any medical items so when I suggested he tried some of my eczema cream he refused. He also has quite sensitive skin so I was a little stumped as to what to suggest he tried. This is when I thought about some baby moisturiser as if it's gentle enough for a baby it must be gentle enough for my 27 year old husband! So I went to Boots to see what I could find and the Johnsons baby moisturising cream looked like a perfect start.
A 100ml tube of the baby moisturiser from Boots cost just £1.99 so it didn't break the bank either. I have also seen this moisturiser in Wilkinson's, larger supermarkets and chemists.
My husband used this cream every day on his dry skin patches for about a week (mainly because I made him), but it worked brilliantly and the dry patches had soon disappeared. But this left a large amount of the moisturiser left which I decided to try on my face to see how it suited my skin as it tends to be quite sensitive at times.
I was amazed at just how well it worked, it was not at all greasy and left my skin feeling soft and subtle. I have now purchased a couple more tubes and do not use it every day as now I am approaching my thirties I am starting to be cautious about wrinkles etc. But for when my skin is feeling a little sensitive and needing a break from more chemical filled products then I always reach for the tube of this.
The cream itself is quite thick and white in colour and has a lovely fresh fragrance. There is nothing fancy about this moisturiser it is simple and gentle but that is exactly why I will continue to buy it and I can understand why people trust it to use it on their children's skin.
I have never been one to insist on buying brands and am quite happy to purchase supermarkets own products as long as they work. I would never have gone out and bought this myself but when our baby was born we were bought a starter basket and in it was a tube of the cream so of course I was going to give it a go.
Looking up the price for this review I am actually quite suprised to dfind that this product is selling for £1 in 6 different stores and edven Boots who I think are generally more expensive on this type of thing is selling it for £1.07. The tube is white in colour and holds 100ml of product, it has the Johnsons logo on the top and a symbol in the middle claiming that the mildness is clinically proven.
So what do Johnsons claim about the product, "it gently moisturises skin leaving it perfectly baby soft, clinically proven to be mild enough to use on face or all over babies skin" I was suprised although i'm sure noone would need them that there are no directions for use on the tube. The rest of the information on the tube is the ingredients, a warning to keep out of reach of children and for external use only and the 12 month shelf life symbol.
The top on the tube is a screw top lid on the bottom of the tube, on opening the top there is a large hole inside to dispense the product. The product itself is white in colour and thick which is good however it just smells soapy to me and I don't like it. When used on my babies skin it does leave it soft but so do other products which leave her smelling nicer, my 3 year old uses this more than anything as she likes to put cream on her hands.
I wouldn't buy this myself, we have got it so i will use it as it's not that bad but I just don't like the smell and it does linger on babies skin, normally i find Johnsons things have that baby smell but not this one unfortunatley.
During the winter months, my skin all over my body seemed to change quite a lot. This resulted in me having to change a number of the products I use. My skin has always been dry on my body and face. But now I have to deal with sensitive skin too.
I have suffered with acne and still have some spots and scars on my face, but my skin is getting better, as long as I'm careful what I use. Because of the spots and sensitivity I went looking for face moisturisers that were oil free and would be gentle on my skin. I managed to find some products I'm really happy with. This review will discuss the baby moisturising cream by johnsons, which I use as a night cream for my face.
I chose this one, because it's for babies, so I expected it to be quite gentle on my face and it doesn't have oil in it. Plus the price was incredible - I purchased the tube from boots for £1.07 and it wasn't even on offer
This is a 100ml white tube which I really like, because it sits nicely on my shelf and all the product remains at the bottle of the tube, so when there's less product, I don't expect I'll have to battle with the tube.
The actual cream is a thick white smooth consistency that rubs in so easily. I like to apply a bit extra moisturiser at night, so I apply about a penny sized amount on my face, which really isn't a lot. It absorbs so fast. It doesn't even feel greasy when I apply it so I absolutely love it. It's not made as a face cream but I love using it on my face. My skin always feels so soft after I put it on.
I've been using this cream for 3 weeks, and my skin feels softer, I'm getting fewer spots and my scars are fading, so I love it. And at such a great price I keep tubes of this in my bag, all over my house and just every where. Oh, and this cream is going to last absolutely ages. The tube I've been using every night, for 3 weeks now, is still really full, like it's barely been used.
It doesn't have and UVA/UVB or SPF protection in it, so I don't use this cream as my day cream. But if I don't have my day cream, I apply this to my face and then put on some sun lotion over it, and its perfect.
The scent of this is like a weaker/subtler version of the johnsons baby lotion.
And it's really good for your body too. I have awfully dry skin on my hands, and this is a great product to instantly moisturise your skin, and help keep them soft.
I love this product and would recommend it for use all over, for people with all skin types and any one who doesn't like strong scents will like this I think.
When it comes to baby products I quickly learnt that there were so many different lotions and potions out therefore from everyday dry skin to nappy rash. The choice was immense and so was the price range! However, I had always seen Johnson & Johnson products as a leader in the field of baby items and I decided to buy from their range of products especially as most places such as Boots tend to have offers on them and they are not over priced either.
My daughter has lovely delicate, soft skin and I want to keep it that way. As with a lot of newborns she has suffered with dry skin albeit it only slightly but in order to keep her skin moisturised and soft I opted to use Johnsons Baby Moisturising Cream as I didn't want to keep applying a lotion as they are quite thin in substance whereas a cream is a lot thicker and easier to apply to a wriggling baby!
** History **
Johnson & Johnson is a brand name we are all familiar with and so we should considering the company is over 100 years old (founded in 1886 to be exact). The company was originally started by two brothers (Edward and James) and they were later joined by their older brother Robert. They were the first company to sell commercial mass produced sterile surgical dressings and sterile sutures. Eventually the company branched out into baby products and Johnsons Baby Cream is one of the products created in the early 19th century and it is still being produced today.
** Packaging **
Johnsons Baby Moisturising Cream comes in a medium sized 100ml white tube with a plastic screw on top. The only colour on the plain white tube is the Johnsons signature logo in blue together with the item name. In the middle of the tube it has Johnsons usual logo which features a pink ribbon with "mildness" written on and also the words "clinically proven" at the top and bottom of the pink ribbon - this is on all Johnsons products where they are delicate and mild for the skin. On the back there is the usual information about the ingredients and what the product actually is. All the text on the tube is in blue.
** Product Itself & Use **
The cream is pure white in colour and has a lovely mild, almost baby powder scent to it which is perfectly pleasant and certainly not strong or overpowering. I do find that most baby lotions and creams all seem to have that baby scent, if that makes sense! The delicate aroma soon vanishes once the cream is rubbed onto the skin.
The consistency of the cream is quite thick and doesn't have an oily feel to it at all which is good as the last thing I want to happen is my daughter to have a greasy feel to her skin. I soon found that a little of the cream does go a long way and I simply apply it onto my finger tips and then directly onto her skin and gently massage it in. I found that the moisturising cream was quickly absorbed into the skin and there was no residue left behind at all. After about a minute the skin feels as if nothing has been on it whatsoever which is great as it has all be absorbed.
I have been using the Johnsons Baby Moisturising Cream for about two weeks now and her dry skin has soon disappeared which may of course of done so without using the cream! However, it's nice to use the cream to give her a soothing massage and to spend a bit of time with her while she is awake as just like most newborns she tends to sleep most of the day! Having a thicker cream is certainly easier to apply than a lotion as it isn't as thin in consistency and the moisturising cream certainly won't slip through your fingers. I tend to use this cream generally when she has her nappy changed and I apply it to her legs, feet, arms and legs.
I've even started to use it as a moisturiser before applying my foundation and my skin quickly absorbs it and makes a great base for foundation. I also suffer with dry and sometimes sensitive skin and I haven't had a reaction to it and my dry skin has certainly started to clear up. I've spent years trying to find a cream which will keep my dry skin under control and I think I've found the perfect cream!
** Price & Availability **
Johnsons Baby Moisturising Cream is available both online and in stores such as Boots (£1.05). I bought mine at Tesco for £0.95p which I think is an absolute bargain.
** Overall **
I am really impressed with this cream. It is quickly absorbed and doesn't leave any residue behind and gently moisturises the skin for both mother and baby! The delicate aroma is perfectly pleasant but doesn't linger around which is a shame but that is hardly a problem. I would definitely recommend it to all.
I have used and trusted Johnson's products for years. my mum used them for me when I was a baby and I continue to use them for my sensitive skin.
I suffer quite a lot with eczema. It's always very bad in the colder weather and when it's very cold or snowing my skin gets chapped and sore. I have to take the dog out to go to the toilet everyday no matter what the weather is like, which, on the colder days, can leave my hands in particulat sore, red and sometimes they chap so badly, they have spilt and bleed even though I wear gloves.
I have tried all sorts of things on my hand. I have had pills, creams and ointments, you name it, I've tried it all.
One day out shopping in ASDA living I saw this on the end of the baby isle and thought if it's mild enough for babies, it might just be ok for me. A lot of creams actually sting the skin that is affected and I have to wash them straight off because I can't stand it and they can sometimes make the skin even redder.
When I first tried this I was nervous because I didn't think it would work and might sting. I was actually very impressed and so pleased. It didn't sting at all and really soothed the whole area. At the time the skin was just about to spilt, which is when it is very sore. This cream felt cool and really did make it feel better. I doesn't actually clear up the problem, but it does help to soothe it. To be fair, when it's cold, nothing ever clears the problem up.
This cream is in a tube and you just have to sqeeze out what you need. This means you don't waste any and it's good for when your travelling or out and about. It's very economical at around 98p per tube and lasts for ages.
The fragrance os this is very soft and like a lot of the other Johnson's baby products. very gentle and mild, I would highly recommend.
I was given a tube of Johnsons baby moisturising cream 100ml in a box full of baby goodies for my little one when I was pregnant. I was not familiar with this particular cream, as only really knew about the pink lotion one in the pink bottle.
My little girl had quite a bit of dry skin for the first couple of months and she still gets dry cheeks sometimes now, especially if we have been outside (she is 18 weeks old now). I didn't use anything on her for the first few weeks as you are advised not to, but when she was a few weeks old, her skin became quite dry in places on her face and I remembered this cream that I had. It says that it is clinically proven mild enough to use on face or all over baby skin.
I started using it once a day on her dry skin patches and it really helped clear them up. She loves having it put on her face and quite often smiles at me when I am rubbing it in. You don't need much and as it is a tube instead of a bottle, there should not be any wasted cream as it is easy to squeeze out. I think this tube will last me a long time though.
It smells gorgeous. All babies have that gorgeous "baby smell" even when they don't have any products on them. They just smell lovely, and this cream smells just like babies if you can imagine that. I remember saying how lovely my little girl smelt when she was newborn and for the first couple of months and this cream just reminds me of that.
As well as use on baby, I have found this to be a very useful handcream. I used it in an emergency when my hands were very cracked and dry and I couldn't find my handcream. It does the job nicely and makes my hands smell nice too. It can be used as a face and body moisturiser for adults too.
I love this product and will be buying it when this tube runs out.
A long time ago I came into contact with this product and it's one I always use! I have tubes scattered everywhere and couldn't be without this stuff and find that it really does not only soften my skin in the short term but in the long term too!
White plastic 100ml tube that has a matching screw on/off cap to the bottom of it concealing a small hole. On the front of the tube I'm told that it is Johnson's Baby Moisturising Cream 'Clinically Proven Mildness' and that it is made by Johnson & Johnson and is of course 100ml in size (as I have listed already). On the back of the tube I'm told a bit about the product, ingredients are listed, I'm told once I've opened the tube to use it up in 12 months and contact details for Johnson's are given. Nice enough tube that is nothing fancy to look at but gives off an 'I work' type of feel to it!
The Moisturiser Itself:
Well of course this can be used on babies/toddler/kids....ok anyone including adults (ME!)! I of course am an adult with no kids but I do have very sensitive skin indeed and find this great for that!
At the moment I'm out in all weathers...and I mean all weathers! I lead a hectic life with house clearing my mates house from top to bottom (her wife left her and was a shopohlic worse than me and my mate is moving soon!) at the moment so we are either clearing the house and/or going to the tip, charity shops or getting up around 4am to do a car-boot sale. The tip is on the coast so windy and every time we do a car boot it's terribly windy and one day we even got snowed in a field! My skin is suffering badly as well as my body and brain believe me!
Time is precious and I have little time to pamper myself. I'm either eating, sleeping or running about like today trying to buy a new shower, emptying the house and any free moment I get I'm on here so I'm keeping myself low maintenance and I'm suffering for it!
This however as I have stated is great for sensitive skins. It's a mild and gentle formulation that is great for all over body use and yep that includes the face too!
All you need of this thickish, white, glossy cream is a small blob and that little blob really does spread a very long way as it melts on contact with the skin though at the same time it doesn't feel one bit greasy.
It has a really nice light and slightly sweet but natural fragrance to it. I guess it smells slightly floral but whatever the fragrance is it really is soft and gentle and most importantly fresh and clean smelling and not too strong at all and that fragrance lingers on the skin for a good few hours too.
It glides over the skin with total ease and soaks in amazingly quickly leaving no feeling of it behind on the skin at all in the way of residue and even when I apply this is a hurry to skin anywhere that feels it needs it I can dress in seconds after applying it.
This is truly brilliant stuff! Mild and none agitating not only does it feel nice during applying it but it's light and feels like it allows the skin to breath when it's on the skin. I apply it really to where I need it and that tends to be elbows and knees but when out in all weathers if I'm not wearing make-up I will happily apply a little to my face to add some much needed hydration without my skin appearing greasy.
I like to massage my feet with this in the evenings and I use it as a hand cream and once again I find that this keeps my hands supple and comfortable along with my feet.
With prolonged usage of this product I have noticed skin looks better and far smoother and less dried out and at about 90p a tube this is such an economical product and pleasant product to use and with my busy lifestyle at the moment I love having a multi tasking product on me at all times for moments of on the go pampering! Great stuff and recommended highly from me!
Can be found in all good chemists and supermarkets etc!
*** Packaging ***
This moisturising cream comes in a plain white tube which is made out of plastic and is in the shape of a toothpaste tube but a lot bigger. It stands about 15cm in height and is thicker at the bottom than it is at the top.
On the front of the packaging is the Johnson's logo and looks quite plain, on the back is all the information about the product including how best to use it and what it is designed for.
*** Product ***
The first thing I will point out is the scent, its very mild and not too overpowering but there is enough of a scent to be able to smell it.
The consistency of the cream is very thick so to get it out the packaging you have to squeeze the base of the tube.
Although the cream is thick once applied to your skin is goes on very easily and soaks into your skin almost without having to rub it in. Once rubbed in it's very wet on your skin and takes a couple of minutes to dry.
After it has dried it leave a very nice soft scent on your skin which leaves you skin feeling very fresh and clean. Its fast working as once it is dried you can immediately feel how smooth your skin has become.
*** Best for baby ***
I used this on my daughter from day one of her birth, although they tell you not to apply things to their skin in the first month, her skin was quite dry and I found applying a small amount of this really cleared things up.
Once she got older I now use it when she gets out the bath, this keeps the skin moisturised and makes her smell lovely!
*** Best for you ***
Generally Johnsons products are meant for babies but you can use them on adults too; I haven't really used this one as much as I have other products of the Johnson's range. I did use it though to treat my dry skin when I returned from holiday. I only had to apply a small amount and it really helped keep the moisture in my skin and stop it from peeling!
*** Pricing ***
You can buy this product at the moment for 99p from boots which is very good value as a tube lasts a long time. I think it has gone down in price because it used to be quite expensive to buy.
I have just bought some more for my sister in law who is having a baby in May as I'm sure she will find it just as useful as I did.
You bottle is 100ml and has a 12 month expiry date on it.
*** Conclusion ***
This product is great for adults and children a like, the cream although a thick consistency goes on very easily and doesn't take much effort to rub in.
It's very cheap to buy and makes a great addition to bath times for your little ones.
The fragrance is lovely and fresh and leaves you and your baby's skin beautiful and smooth which in turn keeps your skin moisturised.
This is another lovely product from Johnsons that is not only suitable for babys - its suitable for all the family!!!
I found this in the Baby aisle in Wilkinsons when i was pregnant. At 69p for the 100ml tube i bought it - and it came in very handy when she was born and had dry skin on her back. I rubbed a little bit on it and it cleared it up in no time! I loved the smell - it has a really creamy and delicate fragrance so i started using it on my skin and now i use it regularly as a moisturiser.
I use it as a face cream, a handcream and use it on my feet to keep the skin soft. It really works too - its been the perfect barrier in all the cold weather and snow - ive never suffered with any dry or chapped skin no matter how many snowmen ive had to build!
I havent seen it in my local wilkinsons for a while - so i pick it up in boots where it costs 99p for 100ml. When you walk down the skincare aisle you would struggle to find another moisturiser for that price - let alone one suitable for all the family. That also comes in handy when travelling - one product for all!
I love Johnsons!
Johnson's Baby Moisturising Cream
I bought Johnson's baby moisturising cream when my daughter was born 4 months ago. I had previously used Johnson's products on my other daughter but did not try this cream so I thought I would give it a go.
Packaging & Pricing:
This moisturising cream comes in a simple white tube with a screw on lid with blue writing. It is 100ml in size.
It costs just 90p on average and can be found in all good supermarkets and chemists.
Johnson's baby moisturising cream is nice and thick, just how I like moisturising cream to be and it has a lovely fresh smell to it which is just right for babies and not overpowering at all.
I first used this cream on my daughter when she was a newborn and had dry skin on her face, legs and arms. After just two applications of the cream her dry skin cleared up! I was really impressed by this and have been using the cream on her every day since. It is much better than baby lotion as it is much thicker and it absorbs into the skin almost instantly leaving your baby soft, happy and smelling very fresh! I say happy because my daughter loves having this rubbed on her, its much better than cold, runny baby lotion which makes her cry whenever I have used it!
For the last couple of weeks I have also been using this cream as a face cream for myself. I run out of my usual face cream so I thought I may as well give it a go and I must say that I am really so pleased with it I think I will save myself some money and use it all the time from now on!
Since I have been using this cream I have noticed my skin is much softer and clearer, I have had no spots and my skin has stayed nice and moist even after going out in the cold windy weather which normally causes my skin to get a bit dry and sore. The cream does not leave your face looking of feeling greasy and gives it a nice soft, matte feel.
Johnson's motto is ''Best for Baby, Best for You'' and I would 100% agree!
I would definatley recommend this product it is my best beauty find in ages.
I bought the Johnson's baby moisturising cream along with other skin care products for my son who is a few months old now. It worked very well for my baby when he had minor cuts or wounds here and there while he would scratch his skin with his nails or just get hurt while cruising his way through. THe cream helped heal his skin and everytime I would apply it on, the skin would just glow away.
Later I also started using the cream for myself especially on my face when it would feel very dry or chapped. It gave a certain glow that was not visible even when I used my own face creams with SPF. I have now been using the cream on regular basis before and after exposing myself to sun. Since this is a very thick and soft cream, only a dab is enough for my entire face and the tube lasts.
I now keep it in my purse and use it sparingly. The tube stands on the lid and is easy to store on any shelf. The front of the tube says a marking of "mildness". This is a a very mild and fragrance free cream.
Johnsons Baby Moisturising Lotion......
Jack has always suffered with a bit of dry skin every now and again, I guess his skin is similar to mine in that respect. I have used many different lotions but found none to be so effective that I have stuck to buying it. This product is no exception and although I have tried it once I don't think it was good enough to continue buying it and not to try any other products.
You pay around £2 for a 100ml tube of this Johnson's baby lotion which is a fair price for both this size of product and indeed the Johnson's name. The packaging of the cream is simple and understated with just a white tube, screw top lid and basic logo of both the Johnsons name and the details of the product on the front.
I find the lid extremely difficult to replay after you have used the product because your hands are very slippery and to try and screw it back on takes a few attempts and it would have been far better had they made the lid a flip top instead.
Anyhow the product inside it a very thick and extremely greasy cream. It is a brilliant white in colour and has a lovely clean fresh smell to it. The smell is not over powering and I would think if it were too scented this would irritate the skin too. On using it on Jack I found that because the cream was so thick and well, creamy a little bit certainly went a long way. It took a good while to sink in and I always made sure I applied it before putting his pyjamas on before bed giving it all night to clear up his dry skin.
The cream seemed to work for a short period of time and made his skin feel a lot more nourished and healthier looking. However I would need to put it on every night for a good few weeks before I could not do it for one night as it didn't seem to have any lasting effect. I have since tried other similar products that have worked slightly better such as E45 cream and when using this I have found that I am able to apply cream every other night rather than every night.
This Johnsons Baby Moisturiser was a fairly good product for the money and it did work when applied but as I say it wasn't long lasting. I don't think I would buy it again for Jacks skin as I do feel there are better products available. However I don't think it is a bad product and it may work well on a child who has less of a dry skin problem than Jack.
I am awarding a fair score of 3 stars and giving it a RECOMMENDATION to be used for those with only slightly dry skin.
I bought this cream along with my baby lotion when they were half price at Sainsburys. My sole intention was to use this on my holidays as an after sun cream, most after suns irritate my skin and I knew this was extra gentle.
This cream comes in a 100ml tube with a screw off lid; the tube stands upright on the lid.
This tube is white, there is just a bit of writing on the front along with the Johnsons branding, this is all in blue and says 'Baby moisturising cream' underneath this is the 'Clinically proven mildness' symbol; blue writing with a pink ribbon.Under this it then states the tube is 100ml, again in the same blue writing.
So the design of the tube is very simple but it does catch your eye as you recognise this classic, trusted brand and product.
There are no instructions for use it just claims 'Gently moisturises skin leaving it perfectly baby soft, Clinically proven mild enough for use on face or all over baby skin'
So after my first day in the sun on holiday, I showered and then left my skin to dry.
I then squeezed out some of this cream from the tube; the cream is really thick and rich looking so I knew straight away it would do the trick with my sun drenched skin (I wasn't burnt but my skin felt dry like it always does after being in the sun and sea all day)
The cream smells nice, not perfumed but just the same kind of clean as the other Johnsons baby products.
Does it work?
So I rubbed this gently into my skin and it instantly felt cool and soothing (and made a note to myself to put it in the fridge for the next day for even more cooling!) My skin felt really moisturised but not sticky.
The cream is thick so it does take a bit of rubbing in, so I was thinking if I was badly sunburnt it would be painful to rub in.
Unluckily the very next day I could test this theory.....
I didn't even realise how badly I'd caught the sun as there was a breeze all day so I didn't feel myself burning and yes I did wear sun cream, factor 30 and reapplied every couple of hours!!
When we got back to the apartment and I stripped off for my shower, I noticed the stinging all over the skin on my tummy and chest, now I was out of the sunlight I could see I had turned a nice shade of lobster.
I showered, as cold as I could stand it though it still stung like a bitch!!
After my shower I gingerly patted my self dry and then got the cream out of fridge and decided to brave it...I squeezed out a blob and gently patted it onto my tummy which was burnt worse than my chest, it was really cold which helped and I didn't have to rub as much as I'd expected as my skin was so frazzled it absorbed it instantly! (Not a good thing I know)
It felt lovely and cooling but I had to keep reapplying it as it sunk into my skin so quick. I did the same with my poor chest and it worked just as well.
We went for a few drinks at the complex bar once I'd found something I could wear that hardly touched my skin! Ouch! I took the tube with me in my bag and kept reapplying it in the toilets as my skin did dry out pretty quickly even though the cream was so rich.
The next morning my skin was still glowing red so I had to cover up all day :( not something I enjoy on my holidays. It didnt sting as bad though.
Oh and my skin didn't peel at all.
So yes, it does work, my sunburn was very bad and it took off that horrible stinging and also soothed my skin.
It would definitely work well as an aftersun on nicely tanned skin to stop you peeling as its lovely and rich and sinks into your skin well.
My tube was 74p, so it's about £1.50 full price. I bought 2 tubes and they lasted me for a fortnights holiday so really good value compared to After suns too.
It didn't irritate my skin at all even when it was so sore, so recommended for very sensitive skin too.
I bought Johnson's baby moisturising cream just after my daughter was born along with many other Johnson's products. Family and friends who said they wouldn't use any other brands on their children apart from the trusted Johnson's recommended them.
Johnson's baby moisturising cream comes in a very basic simple white tube with the name on it. It has a twist lid. The cream comes in a 100ml size.
The cream itself is quite thick especially compared to the Johnson's baby lotion but it does absorb very easy and it left a very faint fresh smell on my Daughters skin. The cream is extremely mild too so it can be used on babies face as well as the rest of the body. After use of the cream my Daughters skin fell super soft and moisturised.
Not just for Babies:
After seeing just how soft my Daughters skin was I decided to give the moisturiser a go for myself and I was definitely impressed I felt so clean and soft, and I still use it now. Although it hasn't got a perfumed smell like some other adult lotions its definitely got all of the benefits, light and easily absorbed, non greasy or sticky it's the perfect cream for mum and baby.
The Baby moisturising cream costs around £2.00 although I am finding it difficult to pick up in certain stores now. I usually shop at Wilkinsons to purchase mine.
