=Polycotton Fitted Sheet - Double - I have the White One= I have been slowly replacing the bedding in the house, trying to do one bed at a time, and I have been purchased bedding from Argos, before and had no problems so I thought that I would get some sheets/. =Argos Colour Match= There are about 14 colours in the colour match bedding range, and you can match literally any room in the house with items from the colou match range. =Fitted Double Sheet= I prefer fitted sheets, as I am a fidget at night, so with fitted sheet it holds in place. =Colour and Price= I wanted a white sheet, although there were some amazing colours, and I paid £6.99 for a double fitted sheet. =Package= The sheet was wrapped in a cellophane wrapper, and inside that was a cardboard band which says colour match and the colour you have chosen, then on the front are the sticky labels with the Argos catalogue numbers on them. =The Sheet= The sheet is made from 50% cotton and 50% polyester. You can wash the sheet at 40C, tumble dried, and ironed as well. Each of the four corners have an elasticated finish which hold the sheet into place. =Measurements=. The size of the sheet is 135cm x 190cm x 25cm. =Quality= I have to say that I was impressed with the sheet, it was soft, well made in terms of the fit with the elastic, all the edges were neatly sewn in, and soft to the touch. I washed the sheet before I put it on the bed as I do with all new bedding, and it came up soft. =Fit= I have a blanket on the bed between the matress and the sheet, and I was wondering whether I would need to remove the blanket, but no problem at all, the sheet fitted perfectly, the corners held in and there no stretching trying to tug at corners. =Use= I have 3 sets of quilt covers on the go at the moment, so when there washed the sheet and quilt cover gets folded up into a pillow case, so when I have to strip the beds there all ready for use. I have had this white sheet for about 12 months, and it is still as good as the day I brought it, no bubbling, no thin patches, and the elastic is as tight fit as the day that I first put it on the bed. =Further Purchases= I have been so impressed with the range that I have purchases further sheets, pillow cases, which gets used regularly and also i have brought a set of the quilt covers for each of the beds, and these are full matching colours from sheets to quilts. =Value for money= Not just the sheet but the whole range is value for money, and I would highly recommend them, whether your want white or you want to add some brightness to the room from funky fushia, even Black, there is a colour to suit everyone. =Would I recommend= A great bug yes from me.
I had a couple of white fitted sheets that were quite old; they had become more of a grey than white. I knew it was defiantly time to buy more sheets. I have bought a couple of these fitted double sheets, as well as single sized ones for my children's beds. I love fitted sheets because they hug the corners of your bed and no matter how much you fidget (this isn't a dig at my fiancé honest!!) they do not come off. I have yet to manage to work out the proper way to fold a fitted sheet though, I tend to give it a good shot then just store it away in a cupboard, I also do not bother to iron sheets as no one is going to be scoring me on how flat and creaseless my sheets are. These do claim to need a minimum of ironing which is always good in my book as I hate ironing with a passion. I have bought these sheets from Debenhams; I don't often buy from there as I find them wildly expensive, I also find a lot of their clothes very dated but this isn't a review of Debenhams. I paid £9 for my double sheets and they were not packaged in any amazing way. There was a plastic wrapping bag with the sheet itself wrapped around a cardboard square to keep the shape. I wouldn't expect any other kind of wrapping, this works with sheets. The corners are elasticated and these have not loosened any after use or washing. I am pleased about this as some of the cheaper versions can become quite slack and no better than a normal flat sheet. You can machine wash and tumble dry these sheets, I don't use a tumble dryer so cannot comment on this but putting it through the washing machine or washing by hand it fine. The sheets themselves are smooth and there is no bobbling or fading that I have noticed. I have these in pink and cream and they are as good as they were when I bought them. For the price, these have been remarkably good, I would defiantly buy these again.
The other day whilst I was browsing in my Argos catalogue for bedding for my sofa bed for when my parents came to stay, I decided to stock up on a few new sheets not only for them but for my bed as well as mine cos mine felt, well a little bit worn really and I decided to buy new and chuck the old ones out! I bought a couple of these in the purple fizz colour from the Argos 'Colour Match' range. I bought the purple shade twice as I have a couple of new duvet cover sets I bought myself recently and thought they would match well and make me nice looking sets up. Now these usually retail at £6.99 for a double sized fitted sheet, hurry though alot of the colours are on offer at the moment for £3.99 as was this (hence why I bought two of them lol) and come in single, double and king sizes with offers price wise across the board. So whatever the size you opt for they are all made from 50% cotton and 50% polyester, giving them a light cotton feel. As I have mentioned my colour is purple fizz, a rich purple colour. These can be washed at 40c or lower, are suitable for tumble drying and although you can iron these if you really want to because the edges of the iftted sheet is elasticated I find it fits perfectly on my double mattress and most of the wrinkles and creases drop out naturally anyway. This is a soft and easy to care for sheet, it fits well on my bed and doesn't ping off when I move in my sleep or anything and although I have washed and tumble dried it rather often had no adverse effect with it at all and it looks nice too. Sure it isn't the best quality if your used to Egyptian cotton and the likes but its good enough for the money thats for sure! Only available from Argos stores.
My review is about the Funky Fuchia coloured sheet not the orange in the picture Dooyoo are showing I've recently been revamping my bedroom with some new bits and pieces and bedding. I've bought most of my things from the Argos colour match range because I am fanatical about things being colour coordinated and this range does a whole variety of bedding and house hold items in matching colours. There are roughly 14 colours to choose from so there's something for most tastes. My review is about the colour match double fitted sheet in funky fuchsia. The double fitted sheet cost just £6.99 and came in just a cellophane wrapper with a thin card band around it, nothing fancy at all. The sheet is made from 50% cotton and 50% polyester making it easy to look after. Its machine washable at 40oC and also suitable for tumble drying if you have one. I personally don't so its the line or the radiators. The double sheet measures 135cm x 190cm's and is 25cm's deep. It has elasticised corners which means you get a nice secure fit. There's nothing worse than a fitted sheet that doesn't stay fitted and although the elastic is quite tight and fits nicely its not a battle to stretch it over the mattress. The sheet seems very well made with strong seams and neat stitching. The material feels nice, I did wash the sheet before I used it purely for hygiene reasons but there was really no need as the material is quite soft. I bought my sheet in the funky fuchsia colour which is obviously a nice bright pink, it matches perfectly with the other items I have bought in this shade which is exactly what I like. I bought a duvet set in the funky fuchsia colour and the sheet matches this perfectly too, there's no difference in the shade at all. I have been really pleased with my colour match sheets, they have washed very well with no fading, no stitching coming undone and the elastic is as tight as it was when I first got them, they need little or no ironing which is another bonus. I would certainly recommend the Argos Colour Match Fitted Double Sheet, its a very good price and the quality is that of much dearer bed linen. The sizing is good too, this sheet fits my double mattress perfectly and considering there seems to be such a wide difference between different makes of bedding and the price of these I impressed. They are available in a wide range of colours so would suit most tastes and colour schemes. Argos also sell these in single and king-size too.
