Now we have our lifeboat shop in Llandudno we occasionally get consignments of stock from head Office in Poole which are items which have appeared in the mail order catalogue and which have now been 'reduced to clear'. One of these was a batch of Sea Breeze Storage Sets - I think from memory we had six of them for our shop and they lasted just a couple of days before they had all been sold! Sadly Dooyoo haven't bothered to put the picture at the top of this review but if you go to http://www.rnlishop.org.uk/ and search for Sea Breeze Storage Set you can see how pretty it looks. The actual storage box is made from wood and is in the shape of a rowing boat. It stands on its flat stern with pointed bow at the top. The outside is painted dark blue and the inside is white with a little white shelf towards the top. Inside the box and on the shelf is a white shower puff, a small, blue, fish shaped candle and a blue bath soap weighing 120g which is shrink wrapped in plastic. On the base of the box there are three pump action dispensers all of which contain 250ml of liquid. One is pale blue and is the body lotion and the other two are darker blue - one is the liquid hand soap and the other is the shower gel. The whole thing looks really attractive on my bathroom shelf and, once I have finished using all the contents the boat will still be used to store other bathroom toiletries. All the contents of the box, with the exception of the shower puff, are fragranced with the Sea Breeze perfume. This is difficult to describe but I would say that it is refreshing and it reminds me of the sea rather than being a sweet and flowery fragrance. The shower gel and soaps all lather up well and the body lotion makes my skin feel soft and moisturised. When lit the fish shaped candle fills the bathroom with the same lovely fragrance as all the other items. I haven't used the shower puff as I don't like them but it looks exactly the same as any other shower puff so I have no reason to believe that it would be anything other than useful. The original price of this set was £34.95 which I think is far too expensive and I can see why they ended up with unsold stock! By the time we got them in our shop they were just £7.95 which is a much more realistic price and, as I say, they were snapped up almost immediately - I am glad that I got mine quickly! They are still available at the reduced price from the RNLI shop site although you will have to pay a further £4.95 postage and packing on each order. It doesn't look as though we will get any more for the shop which is a shame as they sold so well - never mind we have plenty more things to sell!! As usual the buying of this item means that you are helping to provide the lifeboat service here in the United Kingdom and that can't be bad can it?
