Not one that you will find in my house again!

For all those that read my reviews know I am currently awaiting Skin Grafts and due to this I was unable to use Shower Gel or Bubble bath so my skin would be completely soap free. I had to use this awful Hibi Scrub and the smell was majority clinical.

On Wednesday last week I went to see my Skin Specialist who decided that he was now going to get on and do my grafts without me cutting things out of my lifestyle (IE Shower Gel) as the plan he had wasn't working. So I can now go back to using Shower Gel and Bubble Bath until my operation. After the Op then I will need to use Hibi Scrub until it heals but then Whooooo no more Hibi Scrub.

So when I needed new Shower Gel for the Bathroom last Wednesday night I didn't even look in the box I use to keep the offers in when I multibuy. I just picked the first one out I saw. It was one of Palmolive's Limited Edition gels.

Madagascar Sunset comes in a 250ml bottle which is clear for you to see the pinky liquid inside. It is the sort of roundy bottle that Palmolive always use and has a clear flip top lid to dispense the gel. The label on the front has the Palmolive logo written over a green strip at the top with Madagscar Sunset in the middle. At the bottom then it advises it has Frangipani flower extract in.

All this is set over a lovely back ground of orange and yellow with a beautiful scene of water and tree's. Then on the right is the pink Frangipani flower. The back of bottle doesn't actually say alot because it is in several different languages.

I had never heard of Frangipani flower before so of course I had to research it on the Net. The flower originates Mexico, Central America, Columbia and Venezula. It comes in a range of pink and yellow colours and is used mainly for it's scent.

As soon as I opened the bottle the smell was not great as some Shower Gel's can be. I really had to squeeze the bottle to get the full waft of smell. Then as it hit me I thought it smelled excatly like my Nan's rose perfume. I was not at all impressed with the smell.

I used the gel anyway as I was in the bath at this point so couldn't go in search of another. So as I was using the Gel I noticed there were lots of bubbles which stayed in the bath for the whole time I was in there. Once I had dried myself however, the smell was completely gone. Even though I didn't think the smell was all that nice I would have prefered to have a bit of a lasting linger as I do like to smell like I had actually been in the bath.

The next morning though I had found out that the gel had completely dried my skin out. I was so disapointed as I had to start using Moisturiser to rehydrate my skin again.

Even though this was on offer for 80p in Morrisons I will not be buying it again.
