      A great Little People toy

Fisher Price Little People Lil Movers Airplane Our little one was bought this little people plane for their last birthday and was an immediate hit. The plane is quite dull in colour with its main colour being white with some blue and red parts on the door and around the top and bottom of the plane. Although the colours are dull, it makes this toy perfect for either a boy or a girl. It is a very chunky toy and quite heavy so little hands do find it difficult to pick up and fly it around the room, though it is also on wheels so our little one mainly pushes it along the floor. It is also very durable and even with many 'plane crashes', the toy does not even have a scratch on it. The plane is open-topped to make putting little people in easier for small hands, or for slightly older children, the door opens and closes easily. When you place the pilot in the pilots seat, lights flash and it says a few different phrases/songs. This is reasonably loud and does get annoying especially when your child keeps their finger firmly pressed on the button over and over again! Along with the plane come three chunky little people, which are also very durable. This plane can be found between £15.00 to £25.00. Personally I think £25.00 is too over priced for what it is though £15.00 is a reasonable amount so shop around.

Worth buying for your child, or someone elses

My eldest son got two of these for his second birthday, one of which I regifted, I sometimes wish I had kept it now to reduce the bickering. I asked my parents to get this for my son as I wanted him to have some more toys that would give him chance to use his imagination. He was very excited when he opened it. Although it isn't particularly brightly coloured, it being mostly white, it is quite a cheerful little plane, with a smiley face at the front. It comes with a pilot and two tourists I think, the people are now mixed in with everything else so I'm not too sure whether one of them was an air hostess or not. There are also a couple of items of luggage to load on and off. The plane is quite chunky and hard for a small child to "fly" it round the room above their heads, there is a handle on top so it's easy to carry round with you. The door opens and closes but the aeroplane is open topped so children can load in their passengers either way. The aeroplane has a seat that you press down to hear a few phrases and a happy jingle with a couple of flashing lights, this can get incredibly annoying if it's pressed time and again. The people are small and chunky and easy for young children to handle, they don't have any moveable parts but this doesn't seem to bother my son. They are easy to stand up, which reduces the frustration levels as they don't keep falling over. The seats in the aeroplane have little nodules which fit neatly into holes on the underside of the people, this keeps them in place when the aeroplane is carried around. The plane's undercarriage is permanently in place so it can be used as a road vehicle as well. It is made of sturdy plastic which is very durable. The problem that I have with this plane is that because of the electrics you can't give it a good scrub in the sink but it really need to be scrubbed from time to time as inside there are two seats that move up and down, presumably to help with the turbulence, and these are quite hard to clean with a damp cloth. The Fisher Price, Little People, Lil Movers Aeroplane has certainly had a lot of use in this house. My eldest son still plays with it a year and a half on with a huge amount of imagination, my sixteen month old fights to play with it too, although he generally pushes it around, which is what he's doing right now. This is a good product which has stood up to various children, mine and visiting ones, hurling it over the back of the settee and down the stair etc. I would recommend this as a popular toy for children up to the age of about 7 and a strong and durable toy. Five stars from a childs perspective, four from an adult's due to the annoying jingle.

Great toy love the loook and how well made it is

We purchased this for our son for his 2nd Christmas as I was after something Little people for him-big fan in this house- and it was in the 3 for 2 deal at Boots. (RRP was £20) The Product It looks great. I find Little People toys have so much detail in them and also look realistic as well as child friendly. Inside it has 3 seats plus the pilots seat, an opening door plus a space for the luggage. You get a square suitcase, x2 holiday makers and a pilot in the set. 2 of the 3 seats move when the areoplane is wheeled across the floor making the passengers move side to side-one seat doesnt move. The pilots seat is where the sounds come from. By pushing the seat/pilot down you can hear-a plane sound taking off, a song, a welcome aboard message and also the seatbelt sound. The one main thing I loved about this on Christmas day was the fact after getting through all the wires and packaging the areoplane only needed one wing clipping into place and it was ready to go! (patience is not a quality my kids have at the moment!) Overall this isnt one of the favorite toys in our house but it does get quite alot of play and for the price it was worth it. Again it will last years as it is very well made and very robust-often getting shot along the floor!

Overall, a fantastic interactive kids toy

My son has just turned 2 years old and ever since he has little we have travelled with him quite a bit so he loves planes of all kinds and knows what they are and when he's going on one. So what a great present when someone bought the Fisher Price Little People Lil Movers Airplane for him for his birthday. He was fascinated by it and couldn't put it down for a while. The airplane came in an open fronted box and the plane is completely assembled so need to put things together which is a bonus to be honest with you. It's not too hard to get it out either and let your child start having fun with it. The plane is mainly while in colour and has a blue door and green outlined windows. One the front of the plane is a friendly face. There is not roof on the plane which is an advantage as it's easy for young children to get their hand in and out of the plane. Inside the plane you have 2 passengers and the pilot, plus some luggage and he spent hours at first putting the passengers in and out of the plane and opening the door. The toy seems pretty interactive too as when you press the pilots head down and twist him around you get lights on the plane light up and also the sound the seatbelt sign makes on a real plane, the noise of the engines and then ready to fly saying from the cockpit. Then the next time a little song is sang as the plane takes off! Another great thing about this toy it seems to me is that it is very durable and I would say my son will have difficulty breaking it even if he wanted to. It's also not really heavy enough to cause damage if dropped on something. I would recommend this toy as it's great fun, although like alot of kids toys the noises can get on your nerves eventually.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

        Great addition to the toybox

I bought this for my daughters first birthday for about £12.00 in Home Bargains. We have several other products in the 'Little People' range that belonged to my son. I found the products to be long lasting and enjoyable so thought this would be a good addition to the collection. The box contains the plane, a pilot, 2 passengers and a suitcase. The plane is made from a chunky thick plastic, and the people from a sort of rubber. They have been really hardwearing, I haven't found any dents or scratches have appeared during play. It is also very easy to keep clean - a quick wipe with a damp cloth is all that is necessary. My daughter really enjoys putting the characters in the plane (they have a little round circle each to slot on to) through the top hole. There is a door that opens to the side of the pilot but she finds it difficult to get the people in through there so she doesn't use this very much. She is rewarded for getting the pilot in her seat by pushing her down on her spot and a little song is played whilst they fly off to there destination. A nice feature that my daughter finds quite funny is that when the plane is pushed along the ground the people all wobble in there seats, the good thing is they are all kept upright because they are secure on their slots. There is a good solid handle on the top that is easy for little hands to hold in order to fly the plane through the air, but it sits down when pushed along the ground. The plane has now become a welcome addition to the toy box and is probably played with on a weekly basis. I think the main appeal is putting the people in and out as young kids seem to like controlling their own little world. I am pleased with this product as it is both educational and fun and I think it will appeal to girls and boys between the ages of 1 and 3. It contains no small parts and I think most children will find enjoyment from this toy. This toy does require batteries (included) but we have had it over a year now and they haven't needed changing yet.

a well price toy that lasts and lasts

Fisher Price Little People Lil Movers Aeroplane I brought this aeroplane for my little boy for his first birthday as I had brought him the Fisher Price Lil People Garage for his first Christmas and was very impressed with that so thought this would be a good item to go along side this. I paid £14.68 for this plane in boots and got 56 pence worth of points on by boots advantage card so it really only cost me £14.12 sadly my sons birthday is not around Christmas nor am I organized or I could of got this aeroplane on boots 3 for 2 offer. The aeroplane come in an open fronted box and the aeroplane is completely assembled (which is always a plus point when it comes to things for children) The aeroplane is mainly with it has a green inside and is blue underneath, it has a red handle this does fold flat. the aeroplane has a face on the front, it has four wheels. There is no roof to the aeroplane which is great at the min because my little boy is a little young to get the door open and close (one great thing about fisher price is that the toy grows with them). 3 people come with this plane which my little boy loves butting in and out of the roof, keeps him quiet for ages. The plane also makes noises of an aeroplane and says things like high and low and ready for take off. I love this toy as is very strong and has been dropped many times and has not broke at all, my son loves his plane though he does try and get it in his garage. One off my little boys top toys

Toy plane that my boy doesn't really play with

This toy was given to my little boy (10 months) as a Christmas present. I thought he might like it as he had the Fisher price Little People Bus and quite enjoyed playing with that. Cost It cost the person involved £15 so it wasn't very cheap but I thought it could be worth it. She bought it from Boots but they also have it in ToysRus. Assembly Some slight assembly is required but not much, it just a wing to clip on. It's more complicated to extract it form the packaging. It is about 30 cm long and 20 cm high. It has a little handle on the top so the child could carry it. The toy There is a pilot (female!) which sit at the front. When you push her down there you hear a song or a message from the pilot (3 AA batteries). In the main body of the plane there are tow more little people and a luggage crate. The plane is open top and there is a door on the side. There are wheels (small) on the bottom. The plane has a face on the front and when you move the plane the pilot moves up and down. Opinion Sorry - it's a thumbs down in our house. He doesn't really play with it (yet) and he's now 15 months. Unlike the bus it's really tricky to get the people in and out of the plane. It doesn't move as well as the bus - i.e. if you push it doesn't really go very far. It's not really captured his imagination. May be he will like it as he gets older and he can play more imaginatively with it. Wouldn't recommend it for younger children.

          Advantages

          Disadvantages

Not the worst but not great

The Fisherprice Little People Lil Movers Airplane was bought for my son a as a gift for his first birthday. It is currently available from Argos at £17 or from Amazon.co.uk at just £16.13 with free delivery. The manufacturer's age recommendation is from 12 months onward. The Lil Movers Airplane is a rather lightweight plane with wheels at the bottom and a handle situated at the top. The colours are predominantly blue, green and white. There are three windows to one side and two windows plus an opening door to the other side. The front of the plane has a smiling face. Inside the plane there are pegs for four Fisherprice Little People characters, one of which is for the pilot situated at the front of the plane. There are three such characters included. Three of the pegs cause the characters to bob up and down when the plane is pushed along on its wheels, one however is stationary. In the main body of the plane there is also a place to fix a crate which is also included in the set. When the pilot's peg is depressed one of four sounds are emitted. One such sound is a jingle which in my opinion seems rather poorly written. When the sounds are emitted, two red LEDs flash at either side of the plane. I am not a huge fan of the Fisherprice Little People range, or indeed Fisherprice in general. I find that they have a flimsy appearance and are very rushed in terms of design with many features either being overlooked or not fully thought out. My son initially paid no attention to this toy and despite my dislike for this range I was somewhat surprised at his disinterest. However quite recently he seems to have developed a fascination with it. He pops his toys into the body of the plane and enjoys pressing the peg at the front. I would not say that it is a favourite amongst his toys but he is finally getting some use from it. In terms of durability this toy is still in great condition, however it simply hasn't been played with as much as my little boy's more favoured toys. In summary this toy is OK but not spectacular. Every child is of course different in terms of interests so by all means give it a try if you feel it may suit yours.

Good lil' plane for lil' people

This was a present my two year old received for Christmas (once word was out that she liked Fisher Price Little People, there was no stopping the gifts arriving for Christmas and her birthday)! The plane itself is mainly white with a blue underside, and green inside. On the top there is a red handle which folds flat. On the front there is a red nose and two big eyes. There are also red lights on the wings which flash when the music plays. Underneath there are 4 black wheels which turn freely. Along each side of the plane are 3 windows, one of which is also a blue door which opens downwards to form a step for the people to climb into the plane (they can also get into the plane from above as there is no roof!!) The door is opened and closed very easily as my 2 year old manages it with ease. 3 or 4 (I can't remember exactly) Little People come with this plane, one of who is the pilot. You also get a little piece of luggage. There are 4 spaces inside for the people to sit - 1 pilot seat and 3 passengers. The pilot seat moves from side to side and 2 of the passengers move up and down when the wheels are turned. If you press the pilot down this activates the tunes or noises. There are 4 different options - 'Beeps', 'Ready for Take Off - Here We Go' (in an American accent), a tune - 'High and Low' and last of all the sound of an aeroplane taking off. It's a really nice looking plane, the colours are lovely and my daughter was attracted to it as soon as she opened it (shame it took us half an hour to get it out of the packaging because it was tied down with wire). It's made from durable plastic and is moulded in a way so there are no sharp edges or little nooks & crannies for little fingers to get trapped in. It's also quite lightweight as my daughter loves to fly it 'Up in the sky!!!!' and has no problem lifting it above her head. So far my daughter has had a lot of enjoyment from this toy, she likes pressing the driver down and listening to the songs and noises and singing along (she's learnt the words already). She also likes to open the door and take the little people in and out of the plane when they go on 'holiday' etc. Another thing she likes is when the little people move up and down as she wheels the plane along, she find it quite amusing, especially the pilot moving from side to side. I would say it's a toy that has a good age range, I'm sure my daughter will play with it for the next few years because it's not geared towards just toddlers, older kids can role play with it as well. These planes are also available in pink, I should know because she received the pink one for her birthday!! What's funny is that she likes to press both pilots at once and get both tunes playing in unison...Great for my ear drums.

Imaginations soar with the Lil' Movers Jet Plane, where children will discover how to make things happen, like lights, jet sounds, talking and wiggly-wobbly figure action! They can also sing along with Paula Pilot and her passengers to help them learn about high & low.
