It is hard to come up with a long and succinct review for what is a very simplistic product. If like me you had to learn recorder when you were in juniors then you're going to love this product because it's cheap and does just what you need it to.
The recorder primarily isn't designed to make a crazy wonderful sound so I don't think commenting on the quality of the sound this one makes would be particularly helpful, but in comparison to others it is just as good. This is a very easy to clean instrument if you are looking for a first instrument for your child, and it is certainly very easy for them to learn how to play. It is great however that this one comes in black because others in my class had white-ish recorders which certainly didn't stay that way for long.
The other big pro to this particular recorder is that it is near enough indestructible - you can drop it, throw it, whatever and it just bounces back, no chips or breaks to be seen, and it makes no difference to how it sounds. Overall as far as recorders go this is just as good as any other recorder and definitely should be the one you go for if you are considering buying one anyway. If you are just buying a first instrument for your child then avoid like the plague and buy something that doesn't make such a horrendous noise and actually requires some talent to play so it's useful in later life.
