Comparing to the first generation, Fisheye 2 has improved with new features which add a lot of fun to lomographs! The multi-exposures feature is particularly useful in creating thoughtful funky photos by combining different images. Long exposure feature 'Bulb' is handy if you love night life and love to experiment with light! There's a built-in flash and it also supports the Lomo Ringflash (instead of the viewfinder, another new feature!) which works great at night - don't forget to put in the battery though! (1 x AA battery) Like the previous generation, the camera uses 35mm film which can be bought and developed very easily. One thing to take notice of is that the viewfinder isn't all that reliable - afterall it's not a complicated mechanism and the viewfinder a lot higher up than the actual lens. Also the built-in flash is inconveniently placed on the top left where it can be easily blocked by fingers, so do be careful. Otherwise this is a great toy camera that allows a lot of individuality and creativity!
Not only does the new Lomo have the same 180-degree wide-angle view and stunning fisheye barrel distortion, but the Fisheye 2 adds a bulb setting for long exposures, a switch for multiple exposures on the same frame, the ability to fire both a hotshoe flash and the built-in-flash, a true fisheye viewfinder, and a full metal jacket body treatment.
