“ Brand: Right Guard / Type: Deodorant Spray / Suitable for: Body „
I have been a fan of Right Guard for quite sometime, it seems that the products do exactly what they say on the tin. This Extreme Sport addition to the product line works harder to keep back sweat at those times your body is physically active. It even works well during the day when you're not doing strenuous exercise so it's got the best of both for each situation. Though the smell isn't brilliant, it's sort of sweat and musty (though it's not too obvious) it's something that can be put up with briefly until the smell dies down after half an hour or so. Right Guard have always competed on price and at around £1.50 you can't go wrong. Just the other week I saw an offer on two of these for £2, that's even less that what you could pay for other brands. The only downsides with this product is that they seem to run out rather quickly, and I'm not quite sure why. Perfect if you need that boost to prevent you sweating out in the field.
I have tired many different kinds of deodorants, but a lot of them have not really worked for me. Right Guard showed visible signs on anti perspirant as I can take part in many sporting acitivites whilst wearing this and I notice a considerably lower amount of.....well, sweat. Not costing a great deal more than the leading brands of Lynx for example, this deodorant is the best choice for those that want I deodorant that is not over powering with strong scents. The main disadvantage of this product in my opinion is the white marks it can leave, espeically when sprayed too near to the skin. It has never caused me any kind of irritaiton to the skin which is a good thing, as many of the other bradns have caused some skin irritation. This is the kind of deodorant that does exactly what is says on the tin, ant-perspirant!!!
I haven't used Right Guard in years, dating back to the start of puberty when I really wanted to smell like a teenager, but now the fragrances that are available no longer spell that out to me. They seem a little bit more grown up now, with the one I currently have being called Maximum, and it's quite a nice smell. In terms of being able to find Right Guard in the shops they are sold in most supermarkets, Tescos, Morrisons's, Asda and the like at no price any higher or lower than other anti-perspirants. The newer edition of the spray pulley makes it easier to get the spray into the right place in your armpit so that you dont accidentally spray your t-shirt or anything. One thing Right Guard still suffers from is the white marking issue, many times have I pulled down my t-shirt and have had white marks all down it because it has rubbed off, and this white stain can't be rubbed off you have to soak the t-shirt for a while, which is a pain if you're on your way out somewhere. I have had my spray for 6 weeks and I use it every morning after my shower, and there is still well over half a bottle left which has impressed me quite alot. The actual protection it offers is pretty good too, I have been running, biking and played some squash and the anti-perspirant is up to it all.
Intro The last time i brought this was around 4 months ago, i brought in on a special offer because it was being sold as a two for one sale and that really helped me with some saving of extra cash. Ive always liked right guard sprays and this one had no exception it perfectly delivered on what it promised and only had one problem. Thank you and i hope you enjoy my review. Where is it sold? You can buy this in all major stores such as morrisons, matalan, boots, Wilkinson's and super drug, this is an overall cheap spray with special offers consisting from buy one get on free and three for the price of two. You can also buy this by it self for around £2.45-£2.70. This section deserves a 10/10 because the spray is cheap and there are also special offers and finally is widely available to everyone that needs to buy it. The smell is quite nice and pleasant with nothing wrong with it which means anyone can use it. The smell deserves a 10 /10 because because it is clean and fresh. The smell=10/10 The package The package has two main colours of orange and a kind of light blue, they both work great together and has the classic "right guard" logo on it. On the front it mentions the word which instinctively means that it was made to be worn for sports or people who sweat a lot. On the back have a list of all the active ingredients and it also tells you on how to use it (spray). The packaging definantly deserves a 10/10 because it tells you everything you need to be told and much more also it makes the information very clear for you to see. The protection deserves a 10/10 because it does everything it needs to and makes you feel good and smell good too. The protection=10/10 The amount Right guard have put in more spray than is necessary, but this is a good point because the more there the more for your money, ehh wrong because this right guard sprays sends out a lot more than is needed just by a simple push and a lot is needed to make you smell and feel good. The amount deserves a 8/10 because a lot is needed to make an affect on your body. The amount = 8/10 Problems the only real problem i can think of is that when you put this on you may get white, slightly wet patches wherever you put it and a shower is needed to take off these patches also they can get sprayed on to your clothes and stay there for hours without disappearing even the slightest. Ingredients ISOBUTANE/BUTANE/PROPANE . CYCLOMETHI CONE . ALUMINUM CHLOROHYDRATE . ISOPROPYL MYRISTATE . PARFUM . DISTEARDIMONIUM HECTORITE . PROPYLENE CAR BONATE . SODIUM STARCH . OCTENYLSUCCINATE . The Gillette Company introduced Right Guard as the first aerosol antiperspirant in the early 1960s. Formerly a Gillette brand, in 2006 Right Guard was sold to Dial Corporation (along with Soft & Dry and Dry Idea) for $420 million as a condition for Procter & Gamble's Gillette acquisition. The brand is mentioned in the Dead Kennedys song "Holiday in Cambodia," with the lyric: "It's time to taste what you most fear / Right Guard will not help you here." Conclusion My conclusion is that this is a good cheap spray for a huge amount in it and is definantly worth buying a few times and only has very little problems which can simply be washed away, i would definantly recommend this to any one. ...Intoduction... It was a while since I had last bought Right Guard preferring to use Lynx or Adidas deodorants but I saw a great offer in my local Sainsbury's store and decided to pick up two cans of Right Guard as I had always liked the smell of their deodorants but had chosen the lighter fragrances from Lynx and Adidas. ...Availiability... This deodorant is widely available and you will be able to find it in all major supermarkets aswell as the likes of Boots, Superdrug, Wilkinsons and Matalan. They are typically availiable for around £2.50 but you can find some great buy one get on free deals which Is what I found in Sainsburys and also 3 for the price of two on the right guard range is also a common offer. ...The Can... This New Right Guard Sport is housed in a nice looking can with detailed information about the benefits of wearing this particular deodorant. It also has a different enough look to distinguish it from the other deodorants in the Right Guard range with the colour orange for this particular fragrance. ...Applying... Like most of the other Right Guards this deodorant can sprays out quite a bit of the deodorant with even the shortest touch. far more than most of the competition. This can be a downside to it as much as an upside depending on your needs. I got used to the amount sprayed out quite quickly and it didnt really bother me and it shouldnt once you have used it a while. ...The Smell... Once you have sprayed this deodorant you will immediatlely get that distinctive strong Right Guard fragrance, it's a very clean and fresh. The smell is quite hard to pin down but as far as to say it is a nice fragrance that lasts a long time. ...The Protection... fragrance that will stay fresh and will work harder when you sweat to give you a nice fresh feel when other deodorants will leave you with little or no protection against odour at all. This is one of the best I have tested with playing sport. After a long hard football match it will still leave you somewhat feeling fresh and after a post match shower will give you a superbly clean and refreshing feel. ...Any downsides?... There is only one downside to this anti perspirant deodorant that I can really think of and that is the fact that it can leave white marks on your skin if you don't get the required use out of it. But use it well and you won't experience too many of these white marks. they will easily wash off in the bath or shower however. ...Overall... This is a very fine deodorant that does exactly what is says on the tin and the fact that it has time released protection is all the more brilliant. One of the finest anti perspirants I have used and I will carry on using it, Great for these hot summer days.
